Permit submitted

Every photovoltaic (PV) system must receive a permit from the local authority having jurisdiction (AHJ). Your jurisdiction may be the city or county in which you live. The jurisdiction's building department will receive your permit and plan set, and will review these documents for code compliance. The following are the typical steps of the process:

  • Permit technician will submit your project packet to the AHJ

  • AHJ's building department will review the plan set and design

  • AHJ will notify us once the permit has been approved​

This portion of the process typically happens within 5 days after your design is complete.
